Pets Welcome!

We understand how important pets are to our residents’ daily lives and well-being, that’s why Elmore Assisted Living & Memory Care is proud to accept dogs and cats into our community. With ample outdoor space and generous common areas within our indoor neighborhoods, we provide the perfect place for residents looking to make a move with their pets. Here are the details:

• Dogs & Cats Welcome – We consider a prospective residents’ dog or cat on a case-by-case basis. Prior to admission we assess each pet’s history and behavior to ensure we’re providing the safest environment for both our residents and other pets within our community.
• Pet-Friendly Neighborhoods – Personal pets are welcome in our Assisted Living neighborhoods, but are not allowed in Memory Care neighborhoods. Therapy animals are regularly brought in for our Memory Care residents.
• Care of Pets – We encourage our residents to take great care of their pets. Elmore Assisted Living offers outside areas for play and bathroom breaks. Dogs may roam freely within resident rooms or be leashed when appropriate. Cats must stay in resident rooms. We provide Kitty Condos for residents to house their feline friends. Residents provide all food and supplies for their pets.
• Pet Deposit & Monthly Fee – Upon move-in, residents are responsible for a refundable pet deposit of $300. At move-out this deposit will be refunded if the pet didn’t cause any damage to the resident’s room or the greater community. A monthly fee of $25 will also be charged to cover our team’s care assistance with resident pets living in our community. The Pet Deposit & Monthly Fee are waived for residents accepted under EW and CADI programs.
